Frequently asked questions
What is Hurtie?
Hurtie is a self-help app for adults going through a breakup, a divorce, loneliness or another emotional loss. It offers a guided 90-day journey with daily check-ins, small activities, private reflection and tools for the hardest moments.
How does the 90-day journey work?
The 90 days are organised in six phases. Each day has a short reflection and small activities for body, mind and connection. You go at your own pace: days you miss are never taken away, and you can always go back.
What's included for free?
Every new account starts with 3 days of everything. After that, Hurtie Free keeps the daily check-in, SOS, the pause and breathing, your diary, notes, letters and memories, the moderated community, and the first 3 days of the journey.
What's included in Premium?
Everything in Free, plus the full 90-day journey, the AI companion, the night space with sounds and guides, the emotional map, the garden and your retrospective video.
How does payment work?
On iPhone and iPad you pay through the App Store, on Android through Google Play, and on the web by card (and Apple Pay where available) through our payment provider. We never see your card details.
Does the 90-day plan renew automatically?
No. Hurtie 90 Days is a single payment for 90 days of Premium. When it ends, you go back to Hurtie Free and nothing else is charged.
How do I cancel the monthly plan?
In your App Store or Google Play subscriptions, or from the link in Plans in the app if you subscribed on the web. You keep Premium until the end of the month already paid, and you won't be charged again.
What happens to my notes if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Your notes, check-ins, letters, memories and completed days stay in the app and remain readable on Hurtie Free. You can export or delete them whenever you want.
How is my personal data handled?
You can use Hurtie without giving your name or email. Your journal is private: it is never posted, sold or used for advertising, and it never goes into analytics. The privacy policy explains every detail.
Does Hurtie replace therapy or professional help?
No. Hurtie is a self-help tool and doesn't replace therapy, medical care or emergency services. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right away.
